We’re excited to share that Climb Avy Aware is participating in Colorado Gives Day for the first time this year! This statewide day of giving is one of Colorado’s most impactful fundraising events — connecting passionate supporters like you with nonprofits that make a difference in our mountain communities.
Your support ensures that:
Climbers and backcountry travelers have access to life-saving avalanche education.
We can continue hosting community workshops, film projects, and outreach events that build awareness and connection.
We honor the legacy that inspired Climb Avy Aware by helping others come home safely.
Step by Step on How to Support
Decide how you want to give — you can give by credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay, IRA distributions, donor-advised fund (DAF), or wire.
Give during the Colorado Gives Day window — for 2025 the official giving window runs Nov 1 – Dec 9.
Your donation is boosted by the Incentive Fund — every donation made during the window receives a proportional boost from a $1M+ Incentive Fund that’s shared among participating nonprofits based on the percentage of total dollars each raises.
Set up recurring gifts or larger gifts where available — new monthly gifts during the campaign may be eligible for matching pools (there are special recurring-gift match opportunities), and some sponsors run additional prize/match programs.
Share & spread the word — sharing your donation and the nonprofit’s page drives more traffic and more donations (which increases our share of the Incentive Fund and prize chances).
